L’ile d’Inhaca se situe au large de la baie de Maputo à environ 40 km de la ville. Sur la cote de l’océan indien, face à Madagascar, cette petite perle de terre est réputée pour abriter une faune et une flore des plus rares. Ses récifs de corail et ses nombreuses espèces marines vivent en harmonies dans les eaux limpides de l’Ile. Seuls quelques centaines d’habitants vivent ici en permanence participant à la préservation de sa nature sauvage. Si vous rêvez de plages somptueuses et désertes de vous perdre dans un décor tropical, de nager avec des tortues marines dans une eau chaude et cristalline, ne manquez pas d’aller visiter l’ile d’Inhaca quelques jours
Accès à l’Ile d’Inhaca :
Maputo, Ile d’Inahaca par avion :
Depuis l’aéroport de Maputo, compter 15 minutes de vol pour y aller. Attention les vols s’effectuent seulement l’après midi dans les 2 sens. Il n’y a pas de vol le samedi.
Maputo, Ile d’Inhaca par bateau :
Depuis le Port de Maputo, vous pourrez accéder à l’ile soit avec le Bateau Vodacom, le plus populaire, compter 2,5 heures aller avec de bonnes conditions de navigation, soit avec un bateau rapide de la société Desemar, compter une heure de transport. Chacun d’eux vous déposera devant la plage de l’hôtel Pestana sur le débarcadère de l’ile
Hébergements, hôtels, auberges, sur l’Ile d’Inhaca :
Vous trouverez l’hôtel Pestana, le plus facilement en arrivant sur l’Isle, c’est aussi le plus chère. En longeant la plage en direction d’Ile des portugais, vous trouverez des auberges des maisons, des appartements à louer, très sympathiques. Au centre du village également, on vous indiquera les meilleures auberges ou passer la nuit. Le village n’est pas très grand vous trouverez toutes les informations auprès des habitants très facilement.

L’Ile des portugais :
Proche du débarcadère principal, l’ile des portugais est une éminence de plages aux sables blancs entourées d’eaux claires et lumineuses. Vous pouvez y accéder à pied à marée basse
Punta Maria (cap Santa Maria) :
La plongé à Inhaca est une expérience à ne pas manquer notamment au sud de l’Isle, sur la Punta Maria. C’est ici que vous découvrirez avec un simple masque de plongé et un tuba, les merveilles et la richesse sous-marine du Mozambique. Dans ce lagon abrité de l’océan indien se trouve une profusion d’espèces les plus colorées, à quelques mètres de vous nagerons tortues, thons, barracudas, rascasses, poissons clown…. L’accès au Cap Santa Maria s’effectue en Bateau, renseignez vous au club qui se situe devant l’hôtel Pestana sur le débarcadère.
